Compress Video to SizePrivacy Policy
Last updated: October 26, 2026
1. Summary
Compress Video to Size ("App") works on your computer. It has no account, no analytics, no advertising and no crash reporting, and we (the developer, Richard Pham) receive nothing from it.
2. What the App handles
- Your videos are read from where they are and compressed on your computer by the bundled FFmpeg. Results are written next to the original or into the folder you choose. Temporary files during compression are deleted when it finishes.
- Settings: language, the preset you picked, the output folder (on Mac, a security-scoped bookmark to it) and a count of compressed videos. Stored in the App's data folder.
3. Network
None. The App never connects to the internet. Purchases of Pro are handled by Apple or Microsoft; we receive no payment details.
4. Permissions
- macOS: App Sandbox with access to files you pick or drop, your Movies and Downloads folders (default output), and a folder you choose.
- Windows: a standard desktop app with access to the files and folders you use with it.
